May Flurry

I have had a strong run of painting this spring with several commissions in the works and/or already delivered. One is hesitant to look a gift horse in the mouth or put the weight of even a feather on the scales of just the right balance, but I am enjoying the relative flow, happily heating up my palette with greater saturation, experimenting with some new pigment sources... (smalt blue and pyrrole red is really great in the mix I already use). Am grateful too for the interest in having some of my work in the homes of some who have known me for many years. Gratitude is medicine; Love is a tonic. Gin and tonic is even better.
